"It's arranged these rooms really nicely. It definitely picked up the color scheme from things I like." One day the upstairs had been dark and brooding, the next it was more neutral and brighter.
"I am glad then that your tastes are not horrid." Loki teased her still with a wink, before pulling her back up. Nuzzling her forehead, before looking to the portal, and to see what boxes were left. If it wasn't much, he'd just grab them himself.
"I suspect as the Sanctum gets used to me, it'll become a hybrid of our tastes." Loki murmured, kissing her nose teasingly before pulling away. Only so he could get the last of the boxes from the apartment, and complete their 'move'.
Any other boxes were placed with the rest, the portal closed. Now...now they lived in London. "I hope this Sanctum likes mischief then." Coming back over to her, Loki wrapped his arms around her, leaning his forehead against hers. "We're living together now...that's a big change."
"I'm still amused, and slightly suspicious, that Strange is allowing me here." But Loki's devotion to Christine wasn't in question. So he would guard her, as she guarded the sanctum.
"SO what would you like to do first, my Sweetling? Now that we're in space that is ours."
"He knows how fiercely protective you are of me. And Wong told him all about the battle in Wakanda." Wong got to see Loki's devotion first had at the way he immediately went to protect her.
"Would you like a proper tour? I'm sure I'll lose you in the library for quite some time."
"I would. And I suspect I will. I'm also going to be working on translations of the other books in Nordic runes from the New York Sanctum too." Leaning in to kiss her softly, sweetly.
"Oh We've talked about them. We have an...understanding of sorts." Loki replied, moving with her and twining their fingers. Their own apartment set of rooms were on the 3rd floor, with a small crawl-space level up above them. On the same floor was the library, which did have a small balcony that looked over into a small ornamental garden. So at least when Loki was 'lost' to the Library, he wouldn't be far.
On the 2nd floor were some small bedrooms, a larger sitting room, and the room housing the few artifacts kept at the London Sanctum. It was also home to a room with a set of dedicated portals--heavily warded and shielded. The first floor was entirely 'public' space with the kitchen and dining rooms, a formal parlor as well as a few smaller study rooms, and then entry hall and foyer to greet people.
The London Sanctum had never held many acolytes, but there were a few. And now Ylfa, and Loki and Christine.
The building was a beautiful space, an old building adapted by magic. Most of the building had an English feel to it, regal and elegant.
The library was fairly well stocked despite what had happened, though there were few of the very secretive tomes here.
"I love this room." She says as she leads him into the artifact room. It hums with magic, the artifacts themselves are checking the magical signatures of the visitors.
Much like the New York Sanctum, London's artifacts were housed in glass display cases and stands. Protected by more than just mundane locks, but not hidden away beyond simply being guarded. "Why is that, Sweetling?" Loki asked, still with their fingers twined. He could sense the magic too, much of it old--at least as old as he was.
"Which one is that one?" Loki was still learning the different artifacts, and none of them had labels. Nor had Strange been exactly forthcoming about them to the Trickster. It was like he was scared Loki'd use them or something.
Is this also like how you tend to picture me with that hum of magic around me?
Considering it is also 'all over you' along with your own, you should. I imagine yours is all over me in much the same way. If nothing else, Loki's magic would also have been in the items he'd given her that were magical, or created by magic for her. Easy tells for those who knew his signature.
"...wait, truly?" Loki moved closer, but was careful not to touch. Blue-green eyes focused and studying. "I do wonder how that came to be here." Shifting his attention back to Christine. "Do you actually know what a dreamstone is, Sweetling?"
"Svartalfheim. The dark world, home of the dark elves. That is an ancient relic indeed, considering they've been wiped out completely. I wonder when that came to Earth." She should recognize one of the names of the nine realms. Loki looked around, then moved to another case. "I think I recognize this...and what's this one?" Pointing first to one case that held a belt, then another that held an axe.
If they were what he thought they were, then no wonder Strange had both been reluctant to let him be in the London Sanctum and reluctant to tell him.
Loki chuckled, and reached out to pull her close. "The first, is known as Megingjord and belongs to Thor. I suspect he'd want it back. He lost it when we were children, trying to fulfill a bet. The other is Jarnbjorn, and also was his at one point in our youth. Before he wielded Mjolnir. Last we knew, it had been stolen."
Loki was clearly amused though, nuzzling her cheek. "That's 3 artifacts I suspect Strange knew I would recognize." Taking another quick look around, Loki laughed again. "Four--those are seven league boots, that can only be found normally on Alfheim." Indicating another display case with a pair of knee high boots in them. "You'd enjoy those, Sweetling."
This was one of a few reasons why Loki loved Christine--her humor matched his. Kissing her cheek, and moving to nuzzle her ear. Affectionate, which was a sign he felt fairly relaxed. "They allow the wearer to walk on impossible surfaces, such as a rainbow or cloud, or up the side of a building. You could balance on a spider's silken thread, wearing them, provided it's not cut."
Their humor is often biting and sarcastic but they understand one another.
"Ok, I need to try them." She kisses his cheek and moves to the case with the boots inside and unlocks it. "Most of these are a bit too dangerous to just play with for a laugh."

"It sounds so dramatic." And a bit romantic.

"In a new space that's ours. Feels very formal." She chuckles. It's a big change for them, despite having been together all the time prior.

They will have the whole night to explore their new bedroom, for now she gives him a quick kiss and takes his hand to give him a tour.

"This one is very old." She moves to one of the cases, a little blue gem set in a necklace sits inside and looks unassuming.

She waves a hand and the case unlocks for her, a perk of becoming the head of a sanctum, it gives access to all of the cases and books.
"This is a dreamstone."

Their signatures were one one another in very obvious ways for anyone able to see it.
"It manifests desires." She had been doing research on all the artifacts that were now in her protection. "Where is it from?"

She carefully latches the dreamstone case closed again.
"The belt of strength, and Wrecker of Worlds. They have such dramatic names."

But walking up the walls seems safe enough.
