That made him laugh softly. "Sweetling, you're friends with a few gods and a Sorcerer whom I have been informed is supposed to be a Big Deal on your planet. You're allowed to dream big now."

And brush his mind against hers. Certainly more than friends with one of those gods.

She lightly nudges his side.

"I think only one of them would take me off world."

Maybe she can dream bigger though.

We are very good friends there's practically a wink sent mentally as well.

"I suspect Thor would, if you asked." Of course he would--he was already pondering where to take her that might be in range of the light cruiser. Especially since one of his first goals WAS to fit the ship with the means to use jump points.

"Just ask a god and you can go to space. I really never expected to be able to say that." Christine of a few years ago would think herself insane.

"You have a very good chance of having certain prayers answered, unlike many." Loki teased, leaning in to nuzzle her hair and cheek.

[drpalmer]

"Is that how I get you to visit? Just say a little prayer?" She doesn't think the Asgardians are actually gods really. Just a race that is long lived and powerful enough to look like gods.

She is correct, and maybe someday Loki will confirm that for her.

"I promise you, Christine." Taking her hand, bringing it up and speaking against her skin. "I'll visit. Mine to care for, remember?"

[drpalmer]

She nods.

"I'm teasing, I think you have a bit more motivation to find a way to New York now." She let's her thumb brush his cheek. After the week they've had she would say that they are a bit more into one another than after their first weekend.

"But I know well the power of words, which is why I'm telling you." Still murmured against her skin, with soft kisses and gentle nibbles.

[drpalmer]

It does feel better to hear him say it.

"Thank you."

That hand is now being used to tug her closer still. Mostly so he can kiss her. No less demanding than earlier, but much sweeter. That banked heat and passion again.

She doesn't get tired of kissing him, nor being absolutely wrapped up in his arms.

Do I need to share you?

You are currently my only lover. Nor do I see that changing anytime soon. Likewise, he would never get tired of kissing her or wrapping her in his arms.

That makes her happy. She does have that possesive streak that shows sometimes.

And you're my only lover. If you had any doubts.

If I wasn't before, then I had *better* be now...Teasing amusement projected over their link. Although I do hear I might have competition in cheesecake. Were the dessert not so delicious, I'd consider trying to wipe it out.

She chuckles and hugs him a little tighter.

"Spare the desserts!" She's very amused by this whole conversation.

"You do still have an experiment to conduct. I expect the standards to be rigorous." Laughing with her, and finally just shifting her all the way into his lap effectively. "Sadly I don't think they have it on this ship..."

"I am meticulous in my research." Their little jokes are fun, silly little things. When he moves her she is better able to wrap herself around him.

"Glad to hear it." With a lazy smile and slow blink. Reaching one hand to stroke through her hair.

Actually it was getting to be around dinner time, which meant they'd likely get a 'call' soon. But they had some time still.

Eventually someone was going to notice they're missing. Hopefully not many or there would be a lot of rumours circulating about why they disappeared together.

"Don't think New York would let you fly this thing to the city."

"I don't think so either, so it's likely I'll be traveling the old fashioned ways. At least until I figure out how your Sorcerer does it."

Wouldn't that be a tale? Loki kidnapping one of the guests for who knows where and what purpose? The universe has a sense of humor, too. As there's an insistent beeping that starts from a panel near the door.

"You mean until I learn how to make a door?" She teases. "He's more likely to teach me than you."

She perks up at the beeping.

"We're been found out."

"Means you have to let me go at least long enough to answer that." He didn't sound happy about it. Untangling himself, quick strides took him to the panel and he kept it on audio only.

"Just confirming, we don't have a thief, other than you, do we Brother?" Thor's voice didn't sound upset. "I can't very well steal what is going to be mine, now can I?" Loki shot back, crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow. "Yours to use, Loki--but property of the crown." Thor responded. "I assume Dr. Palmer is with you? We will need you both back on planet relatively soon."

"We'll be back tonight--we haven't gone that far. Just enough to show her the stars."

Very good to not add video. She's amused to hear Thor and the tone of his voice, the King is obviously not surprised by this.

"Hi, Thor!" Christine calls from the tub with a laugh.

"Hail Dr. Palmer! You sound well for a kidnapping victim!" Thor replied with a chuckle. "Do you have an estimate for when you'll re--" He was cut off, as Loki hit a button, then hit a few more. Essentially putting the ship on 'do not disturb' mode.
