"I may have to see about borrowing one of those rings myself, and figuring out how it works." Reaching for her hand again and squeezing it. "So if you want to come along to ensure I behave, then please do." Which was his roundabout saying of she'd be welcome.

"I'm enjoying having a little magic you don't." Given how adept he is, only some of what Stephen is teaching are things Loki can't do.

"Make sure you're both behaving."

"I mean, we're not children." Despite how they could act. "Sweetling, you already have magic I don't."

"You're not, but you also can both be tempermental."

She's sure they would be fine without her.

"Like what?"

"Empathy. I've never projected emotions, and only seem to be able to do so with you." He wasn't going to argue the temperamental bit. "I also think you'll be better at healing magic than I would. I know of some of it, having watched Mother. But I can't do it."

"I just assumed you could send emotions to anyone." She's a little flattered it only works with her.

"I saw a book on healing magic but was told it's a bit too advanced for me yet."

"It might depend on the healing magic." Absently stroking his thumb against the back of her palm, he was quiet in thought. "Mother was taught and raised by witches. Much of what they did had practical and tangible elements with their healing as much as active spell casting and pure magic." The smile turned a bit sad, but remained. "I'll see what I can remember. It might also be that maybe Ingrid or one of the others knows healing magic too."

She nods.

"I'd like to be able to add healing to what I know. It seems important if there are battles to come."

And she's already said she will be with him for them.

"Much as I'd keep you safe from them if you'd let me." With her hand brought up to be kissed and nuzzled. Projecting that protective and possessive streak along their link. "I'll remember what I can, and if I find things, I'll write them down and keep them for you."
