She chuckles. She's always eating her lunch in a rush between surgeries, so she is used to eating just enough in a short time.

"It still can't be good for you." But Loki won't pester her about it further. Instead he's going to try and lead by example. The food is very different from home, but that doesn't make it bad at all. He intends to enjoy it.

It's different food and she enjoys it as well. She does like trying new things.

That's the adrenaline, Sweetling. Or perhaps you having someone be protective over you is as much of a wanted thing as it is for me. Part of Loki would always miss Asgard, but Vanaheim had some of the same things and would likely be open for trade. And truly the sheer variety on Midgard was amazing.

She does very much like the wine.

"What is this made of?" She holds up the glass.

"I'm not entirely sure, it's local which could be why it tastes differently. Different spices and fruits would make a different concoction after all." Pulling over the small bottle to see if that would help. "Ah, yes. Apparently it's a variety blend of fruits, including one found only in Wakanda."

Blue-green eyes met her own, and Loki smiled. "And while you are not a warrior, I do particularly enjoy that you've become more lethal."

"Local, it's very good. A little stronger than my usual wine."

Her cheeks are a bit flushed and she's a little giddy.

"Is it sexy?" She laughs

Loki smirked, and leaned in to kiss her again, careful of the bottle and their glasses. Projecting an image of her while he did so. Glimpses of her on the battlefield, radiating power and energy and confidence as she moved through the chaos. Wielding daggers and magic both, standing guard over those fallen if need be until someone else could, so she could then heal them.

It was verysexy and attractive.

She did look powerful and it's actually an impressive image. She's thankful that he's showing her. She sends the image of him climbing the stairs, protective rage in his eyes.

It was the first time I've ever sent an image or illusion to anyone that wasn't you, or required touch. The idea he'd had then, that required Wong's help. It had worked.

Still kissing her too, deepening it slowly, hands coming up to hold her face gently.

Bed More room, and Loki's up out of his seat and moving to hers. Pulling her up out of it gently, then wrapping his arms around her. "I was pleased he picked up on the idea quickly enough." Murmured against her mouth. "Since it was only an image I could send him of what I needed."

"Wong is very perceptive." She's learned quite a lot from his magic instruction.

She's out of her seat and wrapping her legs around his waist to be carried into the bedroom.

There were very few raised eyebrows about us sharing a room.

Considering your armor changed to match mine?There's amusement and the equivalent of a raised eyebrow. It's easy enough to pick her up, and Loki has no trouble walking them to the bedroom. Still with her wrapped around him, he moved to kneel, one leg on the bed, and broke the kiss only to speak. "I wonder if it always looked that way or if there was some influence on it."

ok, fair. there is laughter and amusement.

She's gotten used to how easily he carries her, she no longer worries at all that she is too heavy for him to lift.

"Might say that you were always destined to find yourself with a healer."

Considering that he'd been close to on par with his brother, or on par with Steve Rogers, in fighting the chitauri she shouldn't worry anymore about that. "That should probably make me worry more than it does." But it's said teasingly.

"Or the Norns were being clever."

She teases in reply, leaving a trail of kisses down his throat.

"Though matching your armor does make it look like we're sleeping together."

Which they are, a lot.

"I don't think it says that specifically so much as that we're 'together', with all that implies." Which they also are, a lot. Loki shifted to let her get more at his throat. Probably a good thing he tended to favor high collars.

"Oh, it says that" She's laughing, nipping at the little bit of skin he leaves exposed.

She's finally got enough skill in magic to be able to undo his buttons and ties without using her hands.

"Oh well. I knew it'd come out eventually." Nuzzling her as he could, one hand moving to stroke up and down her back as they settled together on the bed properly. His other hand was carefully finding the hemline of her shirt to sneak under, to brush the skin of her hip.

"Come back to New Asgard first. Before we go to London." Murmured against her hair. "You're already considered part of us in many ways."

"We do spend an awful lot of time together." People seemed to be growing more accepting of their pairing, or at least they didn't constantly ask Christine if she was okay in hushed tones.

She's pulling apart his undone armor, eager to find more skin to kiss.

"Of course." She wants to go see the Asgardians anyway.

"Good." Smug satisfaction in the tone, trailing kisses to her ear. "I prefer your company to other people's anyways." A pause, and a smile. "And not just because of our physical chemistry either." She was calming and soothing to him. She simply made him happy, just by being.

In any case, they were a bit of a tangle of arms and hands, helping each other disrobe. Kissing what skin they could, teasing each other, pent up passion finally being given free reign.

"The physical chemistry is just a plus." It's a very good plus. She loved being around him, he was witty and brilliant. He never stopped surprising her.

It's amazing how pent up they can be after only a few days, but it had been a busy and stressful few days. Right now she needed to have every inch of his skin available for kissing while she touched him.

It was a plus, and he seemed to feel the same way. Currently one hand was at her hip and moving lower, while his mouth was occupied raining kisses against her collarbone and shoulder. "Please tell me you're not getting up early?" Said in between kisses, against her skin.

"No, I'm letting myself sleep in." She has earned a lazy morning.

She arches into his touch and leaves little love bites along his shoulder.
