There are little sparkles of pleased surprise and amusement against her mind. Not just because of her words, but because of how she's murmuring them. It was one thing to know she'd been studying Norwegian, albeit haphazardly; another entirely to hear the fruits of that study.

"So now we should practice with Latin, yes?" Loki teased her, voice low and breathless.

She's got her face in the crook of his neck, kissing the skin as she moves with him.

"I'm better at Latin anyway." She studied it for years. "If you want to work on languages right now I'm not doing a very good job."

His head is leaned against hers as much as he's able, turned to kiss where he can. "We're speaking the most important one, my Christine."

"This one?" She mutters against his lips as her hips move a bit quicker.

This might be her prefered language to share with him anyway.

"Mmmyes..." It's sighed out, as he moves with her. Neither in a hurry to chase their climax, but working together. Loving together and savoring their pleasure.

She does enjoy when they are intimate like this, when they take their time and savor one another. It's always full of mental caresses and sweet sentiments.

She moves her face to rest her forehead to his so they can lock eyes as they work towards climaxing together.

Loki blinked slowly, before leaning into kiss her softly. Keeping them close, watching her like she was all that mattered. Which at the moment, she was. Them together, joined as closely as they could be. It soothed something deep in his soul, that he'd never known he was missing until he had it.

She is getting close, and it's obvious by how she's chasing her pleasure.

She mutters his name, begging him to help her along so they can come together.

By now he can easily read the inflections of her voice when she murmurs his name as if she'd used more words. Seeking her mouth, soft kisses and an occasional nip of teeth were given. He wasn't far behind her at all, and had heard her plea clearly. One hand moved from her hip, seeking just above where they joined to tease her and encourage her further.

His encouragement is all it takes and she sends the sensation along the link to hopefully encourage him to shatter with her.

He probably could've resisted, but he didn't want to. They were partners in this, especially this time. So her encouragement in turn had him gasping, and shattering with her. Breathing her in, hand at her hip keeping her in place against him.

There was no fight for control this time, and she feels him shudder right along with her.

She kisses him, heavy and breathless and radiates love through their link.

Her love, as ever, is balm to his lonely and hurt soul. Nor is Loki aware that he's projecting it back. Still not fully ready to admit it to himself unconsciously, but that doesn't mean he can control what he feels. Emotions can not lie.

They hold each other, steady each other. Basking in the afterglow and supporting each other, in synch.

It's the feeling of his emotions that keeps her comfortable with waiting for him to say he loves her. She doesn't need the words when she feels the emotion radiating from him.

"You know, I've always had a healthy libido, but you have really gotten me going." She leaves a little kiss on his cheek. "And I'm sure that gives your ego a little stroke."

"You like to stroke a lot of my things, Sweetling." Loki teased her, nuzzling her nose. "But I can also say that you are, once again, unique." He had always been a hedonist, and had his own healthy libido--but she sparked something in him.

She rolls her eyes with a laugh.

"No one could deny our chemisty." She teases, kissing him again. Even Stephen has come along to seeing just how serious Christine was about the god.

One hand came up to brush her cheek, stroke her hair back from her face. "I'd like to see someone try." He would enjoy eviscerating them, first with words--then possibly literally.

She tilts her head into his touch.

"I think I'm ready to introduce you to my mom."

It's a big thing for her. Christine hadn't introduced her mom to anyone since Stephen.

Stroking her cheek still, Loki nuzzled her again. "I would be honored to meet your mother." Smiling, genuine and soft, just for her. "You know, you're probably strong enough to heal her somewhat. I can also think of ways to help slow her decline and keep her safe too." He'd already put one of those ways in motion, but would share that with her for Yule.

She nods, "I've been doing some research and I think I can help somewhat."

Christine had been working for sometime on making sure the spell was just right, it was for her mom afterall.

"Even if I can just slow the progress it would be wonderful."

"If nothing else, you've...at least given me a new appreciation for certain humans. And a reluctant admiration for the species." They tried so hard, fought so much, despite having such a limited time to do so. Often even when it was against their best interest.

That makes her softly chuckle.

"As representative of my species, I'm sure we all appreciate it. As much as I'd like to be Asgardian myself."

Loki snorted. "You could be Asgardian, if not necessarily an Asgardian." He was, after all, not an Asgardian. "I believe the official term for what we are known as, in regards to Norway, is a Suzerainty. Some of the Norwegians who've chosen to remain in New Asgard have changed their citizenship internally to be Asgardian."

[drpalmer]

"Can I get an Asgardian passport?" She teases. They both know she wants the lifespan more than the label.

"I'm not sure--I've been using Norway's for Eric." Loki replied. "Thor might wonder what the point and purpose was, but would likely grant you one easily."
