"You should see the mood lighting on the ship, it's incredible."

Christine does actually like the commodore, it's a nice ship.

Christine sips her champagne and sends a hint of relaxing emotion to the two of them.

This is a good night, and she's not going to encourage the bickering.

I knew you'd resist it anyway. it was more of a general feeling. I'm sorry.

Christine actually reaches out to touch Loki's arm.

"Maybe you should have kept the soundtrack though. Need music for space flights."

Loki hasn't had much need for the ship recently, not with access to Christine's portals.

Christine's hand slips into his, a little tether between them.

"It can't have been all bad for a hedonist, right?"

"I still can't believe people talk about me."

She has learned quite a lot since she last had a spar with Brunhilde.

"I'd be glad to show you."

It's likely Christine would always be flattered and surprised that she's made it into stories.

"We're going to London." They're actually going to be properly living together.

"Eating and drinking entirely too much." She jokes.

The conversation is much lighter, talking about songs and gifts.

"Good to hear you don't actually want me to sacrifice a goat to you."

Not that she would have anyways.

Christine mentions some of the traditions she had growing up, the turkey dinner, the one present on Christmas eve; just general American Christmas.

Christine could admit that Thanksgiving was a rather niche holiday.

She loves that they've garnered a diverse crowd to talk about traditions, everyone reminiscing about their fond memories.

We can be quite popular.

No wonder people want to take pictures of us. It's still weird for me though, the attention.

She's shifted closer to Loki as the conversation continues, she likes being close to him, especially now that they're open about their relationship.

You were sort of away in the palace a lot, I'd imagine.

Just being allowed to be near him was enough, she respected his want for privacy. With them dancing and spending the whole evening together there was no doubt they had made an official debut as a couple.

Should we go? My feet are aching.

let's go. I think we are both a bit tired.

And both were a bit over being social. She slips her arm in his as they say a few goodbyes before they can leave the ballroom.
