It was a reminder that he was, in many ways, still younger than her too for all his years older. But she helped, and soothed him in ways he hadn't known he needed before she came into his life, became close. Another soft smile with the kiss, and he reached out to take her hand where it rested against his arm. "Thank you." It was soft, and quiet, but genuine and full of love.

She touches his hand and projects her affection.

"We can protect this planet together." They are a team now and they work well together.

Sometimes he is very young, and by the standards of his world, he is.

"From talking with Strange, I believe it's more than just this planet. It would be, from an Asgardian point of view. This planet is merely 'home'. It also has attracted quite the high number of crises in the past few years."

"I know. We have like the whole universe and reality to protect or whatever." She's still working on learning about the various dimensions.

"We'll manage, my Sweetling." Loki said, squeezing her hand softly where it rested on his arm. "And you are not alone."

"Neither are you." She thinks they're better for it, stronger.

They reach his rooms, unnoticed and once the door is closed she's wrapping arms around him.

The door is closed and locked, and Loki leans his head against hers while wrapping his arms around her in turn. "I double and triple checked the papers for loopholes, so even should it come out that I'm Erik, your mother's trust will continue to function." Because now...now things would start to come out.
