From looks (and scent) no one could tell Loki had been training, as he moved to come join them. "Lady Freyja, Lady Sif. Please pardon my rude arrival." Despite the seeming 'asking' of the pardon, he was doing no such thing as there was insolence in his eyes.
Thank you. I've studied you often enough.
Sif rolled her eyes but was smiling. "And here Christine was telling us all your secrets." Freyja nodded, looking like a cat. "It has been a while Loki. I'm glad you could join us, even if it's late."
"Ah, well, then I hope you've enjoyed this meal. You'll all have to die now. Can't have my secrets out..." Loki did pull up a chair next to Christine, and said with an entirely straight face.
"You wouldn't dare, Trickster. You'd bring brotherly wrath down upon you. Your own and mine would both visit vengeance." Freya teased back, still looking like a smug cat.
"You can't kill my bridesmaids until after the wedding." Her reply is just as straightened. When they're together it becomes obvious that their humor is often similar.
"Can't I? That sounds like a challenge, Christine." Loki's grin is all mischief. Freyja lets herself chuckle, her own smile impish. "I'm goddess of love, sex, fertility--and war, Loki. Do you really wish my wrath? Along with Sif's?"
Sif just sighed, rolling her eyes again with an 'oh please' muttered softly.
"Hmmm, I do want her happy, so perhaps you all get to live, for now." With an amused glance at Christine. "Wedding planning?" Gently, and more seriously, asked.
"It is not a challenge, I can't have a bachelorette party without bridesmaids." Christine is used to his sly mischief and is more amused then anything.
"They've been filling me in on the Asgardian wedding traditions that I should know about. We just got to the part about the six people who watch us on our wedding night."
"Yes, that's one I plan to throw out. I don't share you, even views of you, with anyone." Loki said, aware of her mischief. "And if anyone doesn't like it they can take it up with me personally."
This just made Sif and Freyja laugh some more, before Freyja smiled. "Perhaps we're more interested in whether she'll share you?" Teasingly flirtatious. Sif almost choked on her drink, shooting her friend a look.
"I think an illusion sounds like a perfectly reasonable answer." Freyja said with a laugh.
"Ah, Lady Freyja, I'll have to disappoint you. I'm rather well known to be jealously possessive, as well as for being petty--I doubt you all might enjoy the illusions I'd show. As for whether Christine will share, you'd have to negotiate with her."
"I have my own possessive streak at times." But she is at least curious if he would want someone else on the side. Lord knows it's basically a royal tradition to have a mistress.
!? Although none of his surprise showed on his face. I've been under the impression you didn't want to share me, and I am pleased with that. You are quite enough as a lover, and I do not feel a lack, if that's what you're worried about.
Freyja chuckled to herself. "Perhaps, I'll consider it. How do I know you're not simply all talk, after all?" And bat her eyelashes playfully. Sif was chuckling to herself now at the game, although she kept her gaze on Christine. Mostly because she wanted the other to know for sure it was a game.
I don't *want* someone else--I promised to be yours. With his mind wrapping around hers possessively.
Freyja moved to bat her lashes at Christine, and turn a winning smile her way. "If you can convince Loki, I would certainly enjoy trying you as well. I've never had a Midgardian before, male or female."
Freyja's laugh was like chimes, and she raised a hand up to her chest. "Me? Why thank you." Delighted to have someone else to play her games. But dark eyes did turn to Loki with a smile. "I am very pleased for you, though, Loki. You found a treasure." Sif chuckled softly. "And he better treat her like she is one." With promise in her voice.
Loki laughed lowly. "I assure you, I'm more aware of how precious she is than anyone else. And I'm good at finding rare treasures and secrets."
"Perhaps it was a mutual finding." Loki conceded without missing a beat and reached to pat her hand.
"However it happened, I am glad for you both." Sif said with a smile. Freyja grinned. "We'll be modifying a tradition at least, as Christine has no ancestral sword. You'd be alright with daggers, yes Loki?"
Blue-green eyes looked to Christine, before back to Freyja. "A scalpel might be more appropriate on her side anyway."
But Loki kind of liked it better this way. "I will say that both of our hands need to be able to wrap around the hilt, so a scalpel might make that more difficult."
"That's what you get for being born American." Sif said playfully. "Not that if you'd been born Norwegian you'd have one, but you'd have had a better chance." Freyja nodded sagely. "I've also found out that the dress and cake are most important traditions. I'll be researching what's required in the wedding cake, but Lady Christine has graciously agreed to let me come dress shopping with her and her mother. I will find her a dress fitting for marrying into the nobility." Freyja said with some pride.
"Her mother is a delightful woman who, like Christine, is far too kind." Loki said with a small smile. And we should probably tell her, and anyone else in your family, that this is happening before things get too far ahead. She likes "Erik" but will she like him when she finds out he's me?

She hears the commotion and turns to look with a grin. He had gotten his portal to be a perfect, solid circle.
Very clean portal

She's just as mischievous sometimes.

"Does she get to watch at least?" With Loki here, she is bolder. Christine is more playful around him.

Not that their sex life was lacking at all. Christine has an incredibly healthy libido.
"Are you going to suggest you try me as well, Freyja? I'm feeling very left out." She can play this flirtatious game as well.

But the tool of her profession is actually perfect as well.
"Have you been thinking of wedding plans, Loki?"

I assumed even on Asgard wedding planning was more of a woman's interest. It tends to be that way here.

"They are pretty thin. I'm kind of disappointed that I don't have an ancestral sword, my family let me down on antique weapons."

Before it's on the news? My mom will still love you, she knows I'm a very good judge of character. My sister will be a bit more trouble.
