Christine feels a bit inadequate next to someone as gorgeous as Loki.

"You can leave it unlocked. I'm going to build your signature into the spell to always allow you in."

"Now what's the fun in that?" All mischief, before Loki vanished out the door. It wasn't too long either before she returned with the pizza balanced in one hand. "Now, if I've understood the 'rules' correctly, I'm supposed to have this with either beer or soda, yes?"

"If you want to break in." Christine give a shrug of the shoulder.

Loki returns and Christine already has out some plates.

"Usually yes. I don't keep much beer, I'm more of a wine girl."

"Hmm, do I care about the authentic experience, or am I being a rule-breaker?" Loki mused, making sure Christine's door was locked and secure before coming over to the table. "I leave it to you, Sweetling, as my host."

Christine digs in her fridge.

"I have regular coke, it's one of the worst foods we've created as a species. It's perfect."

She pulls out two cans to bring to the table.

"I've read some interesting things about it on your internet..." But it was soda, which qualified it. Loki took one of the cans, and still moved to help Christine into her seat. "I feel like this needs a toast..what should we toast to?"

"To being reunited after a long month?"

Because it had been a long month apart. And really the reunion was worth celebrating.

"To being together again, after a very long month." It was indeed, and Loki held up her can. "Skål!" My business here should take at least a week...I could extend it, if you think you can stand me long enough.

"Skål" Christine hasn't put as much time into her Norwegian as she should, magic is more flashy.

So long as my apartment remains relatively unscathed you are welcome to call this home for as long as you want.

She'd learned an important phrase at least, and Loki clinked their cans together before taking a sip. Her expression was....interesting; it was clear she wasn't sure quite what to think. "Not too sweet, although that might be due to the carbonation. There's a slight aftertaste... Perhaps it's better with the pizza?"

"It's almost entirely sugar. Bubbles and sugar." Christine laughs at Loki's expression.

She dishes out two large slices of pizza.

"It goes well with the grease."

"Sadly, it's probably still healthier than some of the things I've had to eat." Dry-toned, but honest. "Certainly the company can't be beat, however." Reaching out to twine their hands briefly, her thumb brushing the back of Christine's.

"But we choose this."

She gives Loki's hand a little squeeze. Fondness flowing through the link.

"It's not fair that you're such a good looking woman, you know?"

That fondness is returned, and amusement sparkles through their link with her comment. "I'd say I'm sorry, but I'm really not." Blue-green eyes twinkled. "How should I modify myself, Sweetling? A few warts, maybe saggy breasts? I don't think I want to look my age exactly..."

"Please don't look your age." She laughs.

"I'm just a bit jealous of how hot you are."

"At the risk of sounding arrogant, please feel free to enjoy the view." Loki is clearly teasing, and clearly aware of how arrogant and egotistical that sounds. Especially with the little mocking toast with her slice of pizza.

Christine is just going to roll her eyes.

"Yes, I get it, you know you're gorgeous."

She is very amused.

"Can you look like anyone? Please don't turn into me if you can."

"Spoil my fun." Loki pouted, but it was in good humor. Sweetling, you are beautiful. Never doubt it. Sent with an accompanying image--the starlight playing along skin and hair, and Christine seemed to shine... Very carefully sent with no emotions either.

"I wouldn't want to kiss myself. I don't have that big of an ego."

She will admit that image makes her look really beautiful, and she wonders if that's how she looks to Loki.

If she asked, Loki would confirm that yes--that's how Christine has come to look to them. For now though, Loki stayed quiet. "I honestly can't say whether I would want to kiss myself or not." Mused around a bite of pizza, clear that Loki was trying to imagine it.

Honestly, Loki wasn't sure if they'd be able to stand themselves or not. It would....depend. On a lot of things.

"I thought you would be all for it. Though two of you in a room would probably be too much personality."

There would be such chaos if Loki met themself. Christine can only imagine it either leading to fucking or fighting, maybe both.

Probably both, and definitely an overload of chaos.

"In any event, there's only one of me here. Even with my duplicate casting." Loki teased.

"Otherwise I could have a very strange threesome."

If Loki's duplicates could touch her. That's a mental image she likes.

"Hmmm..." Loki paused mid-bite, considering for several breaths. "It...wouldn't be real, although I could certainly fool your mind into thinking it was."
