"Oh?" She chuckles, "you think this look is a bit much for me?"

It very much is. If Christine had some sort of helmet it would likely be much more delicate.

"I do, and honestly you do not strike me as the type to run into battle to fight. So it would be a choice as to how heavy you want armor since you're likely to be running in to heal someone, or drag them out of the fray."

"I've never considered armor before this moment." She takes off his horns and offers them back to him.

"I have to learn to not accidentally break reality first."

"True." Taking the helmet back, he replaced it on the mannequin. "But you are about to step into a more dangerous world. As much good as you can do, you will also be far more of a target."

"I know. I noticed the danger while being stabbed."

Her hand instinctively touches her stomach where the crystal had been.

Loki reaches out to put his hand over hers, the other coming to her face. "I am sorry. For what it's worth."

"Don't be." She steps closer. "You came and got me: when I woke up I didn't manage to see much of anything, but I could smell the blood."

She knows what blood smells like, and she smelled the violence that had been involved in her rescue.

Not to mention the pieces of what looked like undead-dark-elves. Troubling enough that Alfyse could raise any of the dead. More troubling that she'd wanted to raise Malekith.

"It would have been easier with the Einherjar too, since I suspect she knew someone would come for you. Strange insisted we be as stealthy as possible however." Brushing his thumb over her cheek, Loki let himself be serious a moment longer. "She's playing some kind of long game, from what I can tell."

Only a moment longer, before there's a smile. "And shush--indulge in the rare sensation of me actually apologizing. And meaning it."

"I think the intention is that I destroy you." Christine had considered what she remembers, and the little bit she has heard about the chaos magic she has.

"Right, let me let the sensation wash over me."

Hmmm. That could still happen, though Loki saw no need to mention it right then. Better to focus on other things; he had faith Christine would learn control. He knew her determination, and his own willingness to be as difficult a teacher as needed.

"It is such a rare one. You should savor it." Teasing, still with that smile while his thumb brushed her cheek. Letting her indulge, before his other arm was sliding around her waist as he leaned down to kiss her softly. Not quite questioning, but testing--was she still alright with this?

If there is one thing Christine has always loved it's learning. So she has a lot of hope that she will be able to learn to control the magic.

She kisses back, a bit of eagerness coming out. She is very okay with this.

That is very reassuring, so Loki pulls her closer. Hand brushing her cheek sliding around and up into her hair now. Letting more fire out, being certain she knew he was interested and wanted this. Only pulling away to speak briefly. "Then we are definitely waiting on dinner?"

That bit of fire is returned, she is just as interested. Her hands trail along his chest.

"I think that's for the best." She doesn't want to wait any longer to let that desire out.

His head tilted slightly, and Loki struck like a snake almost. Kissing her again, tasting her, making his intentions clear. Twining his fingers in her hair to keep her there while plundering her mouth, and his other hand winding dangerously low on her hip to keep her body against his.

His response is so quick it catches her off guard. It's such a quick change to unbridled desire that it makes her head swim.

It's only a minute before her fingers are trying to work on his top.

The leather jerkin he wore over his regular shirt, like so many of his clothing, seemed to have that asymmetrical and zig-zag motif. In this case, the buttons and loops went up along his shoulder, then down his side. Not the most impossible to get off, and the leather was soft under her touch, but she might have trouble convincing him to move his arms from around her at first.

Instead Loki is focusing on the sensations of her, and kissing her, and how her hair feels, and her body against his. Using the hand twined in her hair to direct her somewhat, only when she had been thoroughly kissed did he move. Across her jaw, down along her neck, up by her ear. Leaving definite marks as he explored skin.

Unfortunately the leather isn't fastened in a way that is typical, she will have to wait a moment to figure out the best way to get him undressed.

Her head tilts and she sighs when his lips touch the skin of her neck. He's not playing anymore, and neither is she, the dance is over and they are admiting to their desire.

"Loki" if he enjoys the way his name sounds on her lips, he will likely enjoy it more when it's a gasping little moan.

He very much does, with his own little sound of enjoyment and the smile she'll feel against her skin. Then his hands are moving, tracing the fur cloak to find where it clasps. Undoing that, then sliding the cloak from her and tossing it towards the easy chairs.

She's able to get a look to see where his leather top is fastened.

She was already feeling a bit hot under that cloak. She manages to get his outermost layer off.

That fire is still there, in kisses along her skin and the way his hands traced down her shoulders and arms to find her own. Helping her with removing the jerkin, then moving to squeeze hers affectionately. Moving to lean his forehead against her own, breathing her in, a pause in the midst of desire given reign.

"You are beautiful, with the light and shadow playing over you." Brushing the back of his hand against her cheek and throat. A moment of sweet.

His own shirt was high-necked, but laced up with the sleeves drawn closer around his wrists and forearms by a zig-zagged interlacing of the fabric.

That compliment means quite a lot coming from him, she feels like he means it.

She let's out a little sigh, happy to finally be undressing him, taking her time with the high-necked shirt to hopefully reveal some skin.

Loki wasn't making it easy, leaning in again to once more kiss and worship her neck, down along her collarbone and the edge of the tunic she wore. Nor was he making it easy with his hands sliding under the tunic to find skin of his own. Fingers splayed, moving from her waist up, exploring and teasing her.

There's a little noise when his hands are finally on bare skin. He is already trying to overwhelm her with sensations and it's driving her wild.

"Would you let me get this off?" There's a breathy little laugh as she tugs a bit at his shirt.

"Shh, I'm unwrapping you." Loki teased back, his own soft little chuckle at her ear. Along with a nip against the lobe. His hands were already under her tunic, so it was easy enough to move to pull that off. Up and over her head, divesting her of it. Pulling away just enough that he could look at her, hands now finding hers and holding them.

She appreciates being thought of as a gift. It's been a while since someone has really appreciated the act of undressing her. Most of her recent encounters have been quick, one night things.

"My turn?" She asks as she works on his shirt.
