And here I was thinking only of how I should put my things away, but I didn't want to let you go. Amusement sparkled along their link, his mind caressing hers. I most certainly do not object though.
His suitcase is left by the door of her room. Wrapping her once more in both arms as he climbs on the bed and they sprawl prone and wrapped around each other.
Mostly innocent thoughts, Sweetling. Then his mind (and body) are pleasantly occupied by other things.
Both arms are around her, legs still tangled, and his mouth is against her hair and forehead. "Like I said, I...didn't actually know I could miss someone." It's quiet, honest and vulnerable.
"Very clever. I had to insinuate myself and mimic the spell to unlock it." He praised. "Which means I also need to help you guard against that in it, but since most people would try to brute force it, it's a good." Kissing her forehead. "What else have you been learning, Christine? And when you can let me go for a bit, I also have some things for you."
That surprised him, and she could see it. "And how is your Sorcerer? Still convinced I have nefarious plans for you no doubt?" Not that Loki had done much to help matters. Christine had left New Asgard via Stephen's magic. The spell hiding the love-bites along her neck had only held while she was in New Asgard... Loki was quite pleased to wave and smirk at Dr. Strange through his portal.
"He's been very helpful. After the long chat about how dangerous it is for me to be sleeping with you. Thanks for that by the way." There's a little narrowing of her eyes.
She hadn't been planning on telling Stephen that she and Loki had been going at it like rabbits, but then she walked though that portal with a neck covered in bruises.
"I hope you don't expect me to apologize." Because he really wasn't sorry, and he respected her too much to lie to her about being so. "If it's any comfort, I suspect I'll be getting an interrogation of my own. One of the reasons I'm here is to meet with him."
"You'd be way to smug to feel bad about it." She's thinks she knows him decently well now.
"Oh good, I imagine you'll get a very stern talking to." And she won't feel bad about that at all. Stephen is hesitant about her involvement with Loki, but he also knows her well enough to know she's not reckless.
Her forehead is kissed, and she can feel the smug grin against her skin. "I'll try to behave, if you ask me to." Only for her sake. Another small gift he could offer her.
"I think there's a preference that we don't fight. At least not physically or magically." Loki commented dryly, letting her go reluctantly. Watching her as she moved, and slipped on a familiar robe. When she produced the ring, he raised an eyebrow, but was very proud of as she created the portal. Sliding off the bed himself to come over and hug her. "I don't know if I like the idea of another man giving you jewelry." Teasing, but she could likely feel the hint of jealousy in his emotions. A smoky, shadowy slippery feeling that was possessive and jealous.
"I do like that idea. I've grown attached to falling asleep with you." It was lonelier without her, which also surprised him. Loki was used to being alone...
"Let me get somewhat decent, and I'll show you what I brought for you." A tighter hug, and a brief kiss. Then he's moving to his suitcase. "I'll meet you in the living room?" His presents were in his satchel along with a laptop and accessories.
"Exactly. It's very worth it to me to be able to have you close." And if she's the one making portals he doesn't have to use the tesseract or the commodore to get to her.
"I'll be on the couch." One last kiss and she moves into the other room, she'll pour two glasses of wine and wait for him on the sofa.
Loki doesn't take long, dressed far more casually than she'd seen him before. Black lounge slacks, with a green tee shirt--it was somehow still stylish for all that he was dressed extremely down. The leather satchel was brought with and placed on her coffee table. She was welcome to snoop in it while he pulled out the laptop. He'd set that up in a moment, as he was going for a small box. "Where is the dagger I gave you? One of these is a companion to it."
"Good. I'm hoping to help you make it less obvious still." It looks good in her hand. Much like when you do show your wicked side, there is something very attractive about you with a dagger, Sweetling.
Opening the box reveals two bracelets. One is a woven knit of some kind in plain gold. The other is a brass and green hinged bangle. It's the bangle he takes out first, one hand held out for her dagger. "To seal the spell will require a bit of blood the first time, Christine."
"It'll allow you to conjure your dagger to your hand, so long as you wear the bracelet. The blood will tie them together, and tie it to you." Loki let a pleased smile come to his face. "It's more like what I do, than as clumsy as Thor summoning Mjolnir was."
Now that he's holding both, he concentrates and holds the dagger out in one hand, while the bangle is held on his palm. "Bind Liker å like, vev tråd til tråd, forsegler trylleformelen, og disse to blir gift." The bangle moved to hover, then turn so that it could move over the dagger, like a needle being threaded, as Loki switched the dagger in his hands, and re-caught the bangle.
Offering her the dagger again. "Now, the dagger needs to draw a bit of your blood, which then gets absorbed by the bangle. When you do, repeat these words. Binde meg og veve meg."
Loki watches while she completes the spell; the dagger gleams when the blood touches it, as the bangle does too when the blood is absorbed in it. "Now it's a matter of simply learning to manifest it and dismiss it." But that could wait. Taking her arm gently, he leans over and kisses the wound.

It's been a long enough time, they both need this. They have time to talk and catch up, first though, reestablishing their physical connection.

It's not entirely too long before they are curled up together, bare skin to bare skin basking in the afterglow.
"I have missed you so much."

She knows how vulnerable such an admission is. She generally only really knows his emotions because she can feel them.
"How was my door? It should keep out the more basic of people that might want to get in."

"I've got a few basic shielding spells for me as well." She kisses him quickly. "Really? I've got something for you too."

She finally untangles herself from him and gets up, slipping on a robe.
"I'm still working on this." On her vanity is a jewlery box and she pulls out a double finger ring that she slips on.
She can make the glowing circle, but she can't go further than the next room yet.

She responds to his emotion with a sense of her unwavering affection.
"Besides, once I make this work I can fall asleep next to you whenever you want."
Aside from giving her a better escape in case of danger, she's learning the portals to get to Loki.

Christine opens the drawer in the table next to the sofa and pulls out the dagger, twisting it in her palm.
"Easily accessible but not obvious."

She reaches out to touch the jewlery, it's beautiful.
"What does the spell do?" She isn't immediately opposed to needing a little blood for the spell.

She nods, theres not really hesitation as she makes a neat little cut in her arm (her hands are too important to damage) while repeating the phrasing.

"We can practice that later."
no subject
She gives him a little smile.
"This will just need a little bandage." Maybe a butterfly suture to make sure it heals straight.
