She nods.

"That's honestly not surprising."

There's a moment of seriousness from her as well.

"Just don't do that to me, okay? For fun, because you want to, but not to manipulate me."

Loki considered that for a moment. Before reaching out for her hand, thumb brushing her skin. "You're already giving me what I want. I have no need to manipulate you." But he nodded, agreeing to her terms.

She thinks her terms are reasonable and she's glad he agrees.

"What am I giving you?" She strokes his fingers with her own.

"Noen som er virkelig snill, å dele tid med." With a little squeeze of her hand. "Besides, you're intelligent. I'm sure you can figure it out."

Of course he wouldn't be direct in a way that she understands, she shakes her head, amused. She does get the idea though.

"I'm glad you suggested dinner." It's giving her a really good glimpse into who he is.

"Better than my being in your debt further." But it's said with a wink, as the teasing is back. He was enjoying it too.

They did still have dessert, if wanted. The waitstaff was approaching to ask just that question.

"Wouldn't want that."

Christine knows he is genuinely enjoying this. He might be a trickster, but it's obvious he's having fun.

"Do you want dessert?" She could go either way on the matter.

"I did confess to a mild sweet tooth." With a soft smile. Then the waiter is listing off their choices... For him, it's a choice between the cherry-and-vanilla angel food cake, or the sweet biscuit with nuts and caramel...

They have a cheesecake. She needs to order that.

"For research."

That makes him laugh, blue-green eyes sparkling with his amusement. Then he's switching his order to match hers. "I have to try this, clearly. For science."

Now if she's going to do the proper comparison, well that's still up for debate.

"Never turn down a bit of research."

Loki has no expectations. He'll adapt--and should she decide to do the proper comparison... Well, he'll be happy to help her with her experiment.

"No knowledge is wasted knowledge." He agreed, as the waitstaff left to fetch their dessert.

It's tempting, very much so. It's been quite some time since she's been with someone, and she's never had a god, so that's also a plus. But they have time, probably.

"Have you never had cheesecake?"

Shaking his head in the negative, but there's an impish grin on his face still. "Just wanted to keep you guessing, earlier."

They did have some time, as Loki planned to make it a point to visit. How long the dalliance may last he wasn't sure. But he'd enjoy it while he could, on multiple levels.

"It's worth it."

She would be one of the few people who would actually welcome a visit from Loki.

"Considering your comparison early, I hope to not be disappointed." That impish grin turned sly. "Besides, I need to know my competition."

She rolls her eyes.

"Really depends on how good the cake is." And all the rest of the food had been incredible, so he's likely to have stiff competition.

That just brings a chuckle from him, and a squeeze of her hand where he still held it. Before removing the hold as the waitstaff was back with their dessert. "Simply let us know when you're ready, sir." Implying about the check, and Loki was certain to meet the waiter's eye.

Reaching out to touch their arm lightly. "That's alright. It's taken care of." The waiter paused, before nodding and smiling. "Of course sir. Please enjoy."

Christine doesn't mind the free food, the place is absolutely booked anyway, but she's going to make sure the waitstaff are taken care of. It's part of her kind nature.

Now to try this cheesecake. A little bite and she makes a quiet but decidedly erotic little moan.

That had his interest. Watching her, studying again. Before Loki took a bite himself. Oh my...

It's clear he is surprised, before his eyes close in pleasure and he savors the bite.

His little noise is just as sensual and it does flood her mind with dirty thoughts that she's quick to push away.

They're both getting a taste of sounds they may expect later.

"This may have to be a regular experience from now on." Loki commented with a lazy smile of pleasure. It was just the right amount of sweet--truly sweet, but not cloying or artificial. Not overpowering, but complimentary.

"Told you it's good." A good cheesecake has such a satisfying richness to it.

The portions are small, just enough to savor without being over full.

She opens her bag to pull out some bills to leave as a tip.

Truly a worthy experience.

He's raising an eyebrow as she does so, curious. "It is being taken care of..." He's not sure if he feels insulted or not, honestly--or why he might be feeling any affront at all.

"The waiters make most of their money in tips, I used to wait tables when I was in school."

She's not meaning to be insulting, she just knows how rough being a server can be.
