Positive touch and affection was something Loki was practically starved for. It had only been recently that he'd been getting any form of it, before meeting her. It was one reason among a few that he responded well to her.

"Now where's the fun in that?" She is let down to the floor. Just enough to get her balance; before he's sliding an arm under her shoulder. Bending enough to get his other arm under her legs, and quite literally sweeping her up.

There's a little gasp as she's being scooped up.

"Now you're playing romantic." She's not been swept off her feet in ages.

"Who said I ever stopped?" With an eyebrow raise. "This was a date, and needs to be convincing." But he's not letting her down; not on the walk, in the elevator, or the walk to her door.

"This is overly convincing." And still the way her arms are wrapped around him is very much playing right into his game.

"And fun." With a wink. Once they're inside, Loki pauses; with a shimmer of magic changing his appearance back to his usual blue-green eyes and black hair. The nice suit remains, as he's in no hurry to change it back to its usual look. Also pausing to see what she'd like to do now...

She's brushing her fingers through his hair.

"Much better." The eyes are better too. "You really are dangerous."

With how quickly she wants to drag him to bed, it's alarm.

"I've warned you repeatedly that I am." Eyes closing, he leans into the touch. Definitely enjoying. "I'm on several threat lists for good reason."

"Those aren't the theats I'm worried about."

Her hand moves to his cheek, caressing the angles of his face.

His eyes remained closed, and she's shifted just that tiny bit closer. "You're worried I'll hurt you. That you're nothing more than a game." Said softly, sincerely. Opening his eyes to meet her own, Loki was quiet a moment.

Before making a decision. "...I don't trust easily. And I shouldn't be trusted. I can't see the future." Making sure she understood. "But I have no desire to hurt you. You are a rare being, Christine--in that you are genuinely kind. You open yourself to being hurt again and again, but you haven't let it sour you or taint you."

"Of course I'm worried." The silver-tongued trickster god in her living room.

She nods as he speaks and there is a little smile on her lips, she can tell he's being honest.

She stands a bit taller and leans in to press a tiny, light kiss to his lips.

He shifted automatically as she stood taller, and there's a moment's pause. To be certain he's reading the action right. Before leaning into the kiss, returning it. Letting her lead, but also letting her know that he is interested.

Starved for it, if he's honest with himself.

Kissing him is absolutely electric in the forbiddeness of it. She shouldn't be doing this, but she hasn't wanted anything this bad in a long time.

Her arms drape around his neck even as she moves her lips a tiny bit away from his.

"That is as nice as I expected."

"Would you like me to exceed expectations?" His hand is warm around her waist, the other moving up to her shoulder and rubbing soft circles.

"Mhm, sounds like you're just trying to get me to bed with you."

She rests her forehead against his. She is very tempted to take him up on his offer.

Another low chuckle, and he leans in to kiss her quickly. Softly, but with a bit more fire than before. Just enough to tease, before pulling back. "It has been a while since I've had companionship that is this enjoyable. But you asked me not to manipulate you, and I agreed." Meaning it was her choice.

That fire is burning, she feels desire run down her spine when he kisses her.

She tips her head down to kiss a trail along his throat. She is in so much danger with this man.

A sign of trust, baring his neck more for her. Sighing against her hair, hand moving from her shoulder. To cup her head softly, fingers tangling in her hair. This was water to a man dying of thirst...

While he's no doubt had plenty of companionship, she wonders how many were genuinely in it for him. She moves her attention to the side of his throat, sucking softly over his pluse.

They're going to end up in bed, now that they've started she doesn't think she could muster the willpower to stop.

Another little gasp and sigh of pleasure, the arm at her waist shifting, hand moving to rest against her hip. Hold her close and keep her against his body. Fingers tangled in her hair, holding her head against him. Drinking in the sensations, almost drowning in them.

A small eternity, before her hair is given a tiny little tug. Enough to encourage her away. Just enough that he can bend his head, leaning down to kiss her once more. Mouth slanting against hers, lips soft and playing over her own. This time, he intends to exceed expectations.

Her body fits against him, the heels helping to make the height difference a bit less dramatic.

There's a tiny whine when she pulls her lips from his skin, but then that skin is replaced with his lips. She has no hesitation in opening her mouth to him.

He has no hesitation in deepening the kiss. Kisses that are meant to taste one another, to share breath... To cement it clearly in the other's mind that this is wanted. That it's needed. As if the hand tangled in her hair almost desperately wasn't enough, the other at her hip and waist keeping her firmly against him as they lean in to each other.

There is such an intimacy to a good kiss, and this has so much need that it's heavy with promise.

The bubble of her mind is down and her thoughts are practically projected at him. How much she wants this, the way he feels against her, the taste of wine and cheesecake on his tongue.

Perhaps she did have some latent abilities--her instincts had proven good before, even though he had no way of knowing that. "Careful sweetling..." A gentle warning nudge, almost a caress against her mind.

The kiss is never fully broken, mouth seeking hers even still. But Loki shifted, once more pulling her up in his arms like before. Moving to walk towards her bedroom...

She can feel that warning. That sensation of him in her mind. She presses back need you.

If she thought the kiss felt intimate, the kiss combined with the feeling of him caressing her thoughts as well is exquisite.

Christine has no qualms about being carried. She's too caught up in just how good this feels.

A moment of surprise!?--the sensation more than words. Before Loki is laughing in the kiss, moving to lay her gently down on her bed. "Have me." This time it is a caress of his mind against hers, as well as the words spoken aloud. No suggestions or nudging, just a pure touch.

She kept surprising him in good ways.
