"If you're ready." But he's getting to his feet and moving to help her from her own. Again using his best manners. Although before offering his arm, he brings her hand up. Just the lightest little bow and kiss against the back of her palm, before tucking her hand against his arm.
"You know the city better than I do. Is it to be straight back, or are we continuing this adventure elsewhere?" Loki had no plans, except spending more time with her. She was exceedingly good company, and he wanted to savor it.
"Be careful or I might be inclined to think you want to woo me."
And that it is sort of working. The little kiss, the way he takes her arm, it's practically out of a romance novel. But with a man who doesn't do sentiment.
"I'd be fine with walking back entirely, but I worry about you in those shoes." Moving towards the door as they discuss it. "Kanskje jeg gjør det." With a hint of smirk. "You are the best company I've had in some time."
"I could also be telling you all the secrets you want to know about me." Mischief in his eyes, but entirely straight-faced otherwise. "Besides, this is your chance to play tour guide."
"Who's to say I didn't already snoop in there? Or that I ever play fairly?" He does not mind the closeness at all. Modulating his stride as needed so that she could walk with him.
"Playing the perfect role." Loki replied smoothly, but did reach his hand to hers where it was tucked against his arm. "It's not one I find unenjoyable however." He was well aware of what he was doing.
His head tilted to regard her curiously. But he said nothing, just let his thumb brush her skin softly. Content to simply walk with her, and he had no fear of the night. Or the city at night.
She finds she's especially calm about walking at night. She would almost dare someone to try to mug them when she's with Loki. She's seen how he can fight.
She actually hasn't--that was training, which was entirely different than a fight. But he had been trained properly as the second prince which included a warrior's training. And then he'd spent a year fighting for himself and surviving on his wits alone. It would take one of the super-heroes to give him a proper challenge.
Besides which, she was still slotted into that category of his in his mind. Which meant his to protect, as well.
"Trouble?" Asked softly, moving to stop entirely. He suspected it was her shoes, honestly. While they could be attractive, he also wondered just why humans put themselves through the pain for style.
"I was thinking more that it's the gentlemanly thing to do." A pause. "I'd probably attract more attention as a horse anyway." He was finding he didn't need more attention at the moment, than what he had. "Do you have a preference?"
"If you'd like to ride me, I will happily oblige." That lazy grin was back, smug too. He did enjoy their teasing of each other; and knew exactly what he was implying.
Loki bent slightly, enough to make it easy for her to get her arms around his neck. Once she was secure, it was no trouble at all to pick her up. She was not heavy, and he was also abnormally strong.
"I admit, with your predilection for a love story, I thought you'd prefer to be carried princess style."

She's close to him, walking in stride with him.
"I was thinking you were looking for a tour of my bedroom."

The closeness is nice, it's a sweet, affectionate way to move through the city.

She wants the authetic Loki, the moody, often dark reality of him.

She's slowing her pace a little as they've made it a few blocks and her feet are getting a bit sore.

She wonders if they ought to just take a cab the rest of the way.

"Will you be my noble steed?"

And the connotations of that will probably please him. In the city a woman being carried piggyback won't even turn a head.
