"He's had many many years of practice." Thor says with a bigger smile for Christine, and a nod of his head at Loki. Sif chuckled, and reached out to Christine's shoulder. "Now, I believe he has changed. At least changed enough." She said softly.
"I beg your pardon?" Loki murmured, arching a brow at her but he was grinning.
"He has already, considering it was part of the celebrations." Thor says with a small chuckle. "He's been up to other tricks, but they've been much tamer than in prior yule celebrations."
"I've been distracted this year, and had better ways to occupy my time in many ways." Loki responded. His mind brushed against Christine's sweetly.
"Thor is still older." Loki replies with a smug smile of his own. Thor chuckles taking Sif's hand and placing it against his own arm. "True... But there will be stories of you friend Christine. And not simply about how you've captured the God of Mischief's heart."
"You already are, Christine." Sif said with a smile, still looking every bit a warrior even while on Thor's arm. "We should mingle too. Later?" Thor nodded to Loki, gave a little half-bow to Christine, and they were off to mingle as well.
"If you'd like." Loki responded to Christine's question, having also spotted the healer.
"Ah, then I'm 'arm candy', yes?" Loki teased with a grin.
Ingrid was not surprised to see them together, though she was a bit surprised to see them so openly 'together'. "Christine." She greeted warmly, and with a little half-dip and nod of her head. "Your Highness." Addressed towards Loki. "Blessed Yule to you both."
The surprise was mostly just confirming what so many had already suspected. Loki always garnered looks being the prince, but there were a few more whispers than normal this evening.
"I am well. You'll be coming to the Healer's gather in two days, yes? We're holding our own feast and celebrations." Ingrid said with a bright smile. "It is nice to see you both so jovial." She added careful in her words.
Loki smiled, amused. "I suppose healers must also be cautious with words, given they have to get unruly patients to cooperate. And then sometimes they're blunter than a hammer." Blue-green eyes indicated he was being playful. Ingrid nodded with a bit more ease to her smile. "So we are, Your Highness-"
"Loki, for tonight at least."
"Yes sir. Loki. So we are and can be." Ingrid was not shy, but was clearly also unused to that level of directness outside of a crisis. "Thank you." She murmured quietly, before turning her attention back to Christine. "We do have a present for you, since you'll probably be having trouble come your way whether you want it or not. You already have a more than capable guard, even if you weren't skilled yourself."
"Of course, I wouldn't miss it." Christine is very much a part of the the healers group.
Christine is amused by Loki, and the surprise Ingrid has at him.
"I do have a habit of inviting a certain level of chaos into my life." Christine gives a little glance at Loki. "I appreciate it, I'll be taking on a role as the guardian of the London Sanctum so trouble is inevitable."
"What is the London Sanctum? You'll no longer be working at the Hospital? Living in New York?" Ingrid asked, as she and Christine had talked much about her work, but less about her sorceress side. She was eager to hear more though.
"I'll probably do a bit of traditional doctoring, but the Sanctum is one of the holds for the master's of the mystical arts. I've basically gotten a sorceress promotion." She chuckles. It's both because of who she is and how strong she's gotten, Stephen trusts her to care for the Sanctum, and trusts Loki to protect Christine.
"Will you be teaching others? Either in healing or in witchcraft? Sorry, Sorcery? I think there's a difference based on what you've shared with me." Ingrid said with an apologetic smile.
"There are acolytes already there, so she very well might. But I suspect she'll do a bit of teaching in all three." Loki added.
"We very much consider you one of us." Ingrid said brightly. "You were the first to help us, and have stayed with us since. Besides being one of my good friends, I am glad to call you trusted colleague and mentor. We've been mostly making strides helping in our host nation, but have also been collaborating with Wakanda. There are plans to try and expand even further with aid in the form of knowledge to other countries as well. Our focus has mostly been in poorer nations, which has meshed well with Wakanda's goals too."
Ingrid hugged her back just as tightly. "I'm lucky to know you, Christine. You also have to come join my family and I for dinner sometime during this season. Or maybe lunch, since I don't know how full your schedule is."
"We'll make it Lunch then." Ingrid nodded, then lowered her voice so that only Christine and Loki might here. "I'm also hopeful, although it's still early---but my husband and I will hopefully have a child in spring."
"Oh Ingrid! Congratulations!" She gives the woman another hug. Christine has wondered if she and Loki would even be able to have a child, not that she's in any hurry.

She likely already is, given the battle she had been a part of. Christine had her own accomplishments, medical and magical.
"Shall we mingle?" She asks Loki, she's already spotted Ingrid who waved at them.

"If you'd like." Loki responded to Christine's question, having also spotted the healer.

"I usually have to mingle on my own. I finally get to drag you along with me." She says to him as they walk over to greet Ingrid.
