"Is that the case?" They're so flirtatious and now everything is just a little bit dirty.

The walk is long but Christine has good stamina from running around a hospital all the time. Though she is glad to step into a magical elevator.

There weren't many, but there were a few located around. Also a few sweeping and grand staircases, as they'd already used one to get TO the Throne room. Up they went, several floors passing by that she could see through the grating. When they stopped, she would step out into another hallway, and Loki was leading her down it a short ways to a large circular room when they entered. Lavishly appointed with covered furniture and solid wooden desks and tables. Candle-lamps along the wall at different spaces, and like a few other rooms, it was open to a balcony that extended outward.

Where one could see a full view of Asgard below, almost clearly to Himinbjorg if one followed the bifrost (which from this height truly resembled a moving and shifting rainbow) and a clear view of the Asgardian sky. At night, all the stars would be visible and easily seen.

They were going up a decent way and she can imagine they are high in the palace.

She moves to the windows and the balcony, and she is in awe. He absolutely brought her to the best view.

"The bridge is a rainbow." She nods.

"That is how your myths describe it, Christine." Loki had an amused smile on his face, fond as well. "You weren't really in a state to appreciate it on the trip here. We'll fix that on the way back."

"They got that bit right, yeah." She reaches out to pull him close.

"This really is the best view. What is this room used for?"

Again that soft chuckle, as she doesn't have to pull too hard. Letting his arm wind around her waist, close enough she could use him for support if needed. "Meetings, research and stargazing, occasional lounging." In the center of the room on the inside was a fire place, to help keep it warmer in winter.

"You all have sex up here, I know it."

Especially with that view, and that firepit. The room just screams that it's the sort of place to bring someone to impress them.

"I really hope you don't expect me to dignify that with a response." Still so very amused. "I will come up here to think when I need to do so away from others."

"You reminded me of your hedonism not ten minutes ago." She teases right back. With his age he's sure to have taken more lovers then she has, but neither is a blushing virgin.

"I can see why, especially at night."

"Yes, but I'm still not confirming or denying your suspicions now am I?" Reaching up with one hand to tap her nose. "You asked for the best view. This, in my opinion, is it."

"You're not. Very properly." She drapes her arms around him.

"It is. This might be the most beautiful view I've ever seen."

"I can have dinner sent up here, if you'd rather we not leave just yet." Loki murmured, leaning in to nuzzle her forehead and leave soft kisses.

"Loki." She sighs, her voice is light and happy. All of the trauma of the past few days is forgotten for the time being.

Again that soft chuckle, and she'll feel the smile against her hair. "I do like when you say my name like that." Playful, soft, the hand not around her waist coming up to stroke her hair soothingly. "We could just as easily go to the dinner hall, if you'd want that too." Or to his rooms, but he was having fun teasing her.

"Are you hungry? I haven't even thought to ask."

Two can play at this game. Though eventually one of them (likely Christine) is going to burst.

"Not yet, although we did skip lunch." Loki replied, breath puffing her hair as his mouth was still against her forehead. "I don't recommend you skip dinner, even if our breakfasts are hardy."

"I'm sure we could take dinner just as easily from your rooms as here."

He can likely get whatever food he wants whenever he wants it. What a life he must have had growing up like this.

"Ah, so that's where you want to go next?" There were limits and other restrictions, but many perks as well to having grown up royal. "We should start our way back."

"That is, of course, if you've decided I'm allowed to see your rooms."

She kisses his cheek and takes his hand. She wants to see his rooms, for more than the obvious reasons.

"You've let me in your apartment. It would be only fair." Although he really didn't care about fair most of the time. Leading her away from the balcony and out of the circular room. Down the hall, back down the elevator. The Royal Suites were actually only a floor or two away from the guest rooms where she was staying. There were guest rooms at various locations in the palace, in small clusters, of varying opulence or status.

Which did mean they had some stairs to descend, but eventually they were in the royal wing, two Einherjar standing guard at the entrance to the wing. Taking no mind of them, Loki lead the way down the hall, before moving to open one great bronze door. It was a double door, but only one was needed for them both.

Within would almost qualify as an apartment of his own. The main room was clearly a sitting and meeting room, a fireplace set against one wall. 3 doorways lead from it to other rooms. Along one wall entirely were bookshelves, and a writing desk. A great table with stools around it, as well as comfy couches and chairs in a little indentation in the center. Shades of green and Autumn and Wintry colors were prominent.

The walk isn't too long, and she thinks her own room is relatively close, at least if her memory serves.

The guards are intimidating, but obviously being with Loki gives her access to anywhere he wishes to take her.

Once inside her eyes sweep over the room and she smiles. It is a lot of what she expected.

"And I thought I had a lot of bookcases."

"I have more still in my workroom." Loki said, leaving the door open for now. Another bell pull by it, which he used, and then within a few moments Ylfa was curtseying in the doorway. "Your Highness?"

"We'll be taking dinner up here Ylfa."

"Understood Your Highness." Her eyes flicked to Christine, then back to Loki. "Should I...fetch anything from Milady's rooms?" Loki raised an eyebrow, amused, and turned his attention to Christine. "Want to keep the guest room?"

The bell pulls work so quickly, Ylfa is there in a moment it seems.

Christine looks at Loki with a raised brow of her own.

"Are you suggesting I won't be needing a room?" She wonders if it is odd to hear someone talking to Loki like this, or if it's at least a rarity.

"I am leaving that decision up to you." Loki replied with a smile that gave away nothing. "There is more than room enough here and the couches are quite comfortable."

"I'll accept that somewhat gracious invitation then."

It feels oddly more intimate to imagine sharing a bed for sleeping than for sex.

"If you could bring my things here, please, Ylfa."
