She seems content to just browse a moment before she returns to him.

"I like it. I'd want a window, personally, but it's really nice in here."

"The lack of window helps contain any mishaps that might occur. This is also one of the most heavily shielded rooms in the Palace." He'd made it so himself, which was probably why she wasn't picking up any magic.

"That makes sense. It'll be the best place to contain me when I try to control mine."

She trusts him as a teacher.

"It feels like nothing. I know this room must be absolutely full of magic, but I don't feel any of it. Your shields are really good."

"I've worked hard for them to be so." Loki replied, simply stating it as fact. "There are better workrooms as well, and a few more heavily shielded, but I am most comfortable in this one." Reaching for her hand, thumb brushing the skin. "And since I'm to be your primary teacher for now..."

"I trust you." She takes his hand to follow him to whatever room he decides to lead her to.

She knows he is going to do everything he can to train her. While she knows he would kill her if he had to, she's confident it would be an absolute last resort; even for Loki.

It was strange how she could have so much trust in him. He was well known for treachery after all. He had changed--grown in good ways. But it was only recent--the weight of older sins and flaws still bearing down hard.

The room opposite the work room turned out to be the bathing room. It wasn't dissimilar to her own, save the tub was in the center of the room, raised up along the sides then indented into the floor. A long oblong perfect to stretch out in, there were built in seats along shorter side as well. Where hers had brown accents, his had green. Again there was likewise a luxurious shower with glass doors, and that built in seating. Small jars and toiletries could be seen along a shelf within, as well as more along the lip of the tub or at the main counter. In here there was a large latticed window along one wall, with a heavy curtain that could be closed if needed. The view from it showed some of the palace grounds.

Christine is the trusting type, and despite his reputation she sees something genuine in the way he is around her.

She will let go of him to go to one of the little jars to open it and give it a sniff. The corners of her lips turn up, it's the familar smell of his hair, just in it's stronger form.

Wintry and hints of bitter-sweet.

"Inspecting my toiletries?" Loki teased with a smile.

"Yes. Wanted to see what they smell like before you've traveled so far to visit."

She returns to him with a little grin.

More laughter, Loki bringing her hand up to kiss playfully. Though he didn't let go of it either. "All that's left is the bedroom." His head canted to one side in question.

Her heartrate picks up, she is actually a tiny bit nervous. With all the teasing around it, she somehow never expected to actually make it to his bed.

"Show me." The hint of nerves don't stand in the way of her desire though.

"Nervous? I thought this was where you wanted to be?" Loki squeezed their joined hands, before leaning in to kiss by her ear softly. "Relax, Christine. When I seduce you, I'll do it properly." Perhaps a little teasing, but promising her as well.

"Oh, I very much want to be here." But her expectations are high and she suspects his are as well.

"Have you not been seducing me all day?"

"No, actually. Just teasing you." With an impish grin.

"Really? No desire at all to postpone dinner for a while?"

She's halfway tempted to drag the man to his bed.

"That depends on you, Christine." Bringing their joined hands up and nuzzling hers. "If they bring the food and it gets cold because we're occupied, that's not my fault."

"You're telling me with all your magical talents, you can't warm food back up?" She looks very skeptical about it.

Again that soft chuckle, and Loki leaned in to kiss her softly. Sweetly, moving to weave their fingers together. Holding it for several moments, before breaking it and leading her to the last doorway. Ylfa would know what to do...

The room within had its own fireplace, the bed again sumptuously appointed in brown and black and big enough for 3 people at least, tables on each side. There was a proper wardrobe, and near by a wooden humnanoid figure wearing familiar (yet different) armor and a horned helmet. It was a recreation of course but fully functional. Loki had been wearing his original set when he'd fallen from the Bifrost, let go of Gungnir. A dresser was not far from that. There were easy chairs, with room to spread ones legs out. A half-bookcase that also doubled as a table near the chairs. Folded against one of the chairs was another fur blanket that looked easily large enough for 3 to cuddle within.

Christine is immediately taken by the armor. She never considered how one would store their armor, she moves to the mannequin to touch the leather of his armor.

"I'm going to try on those horns sometime." It's almost a warning, with a mischievous little smile before she returns to him.

Her nerves have subsided, now that she's actually here in his bedroom, she lets her desire come to the surface.

"You could try them on now, if you wanted." Loki replied with an answering smile. "I will warn you, it's heavy."

She looks very excited about the prospect. And she nods.

Of course she wants to try them on, she doesn't often get the chance to wear an elaborate helmet anyway.

"It's my original armor, as opposed to what I wore in New York." Loki said after a pause, striding over to the display and removing the helmet for her. "It became modified and cannibalized and scrapped, on my year throughout the universe, before I ended up in Thanos' service." Offering her the headpiece. "I like the design of that armor too, but it's also less formal than this suit. I can fight in either however."

She takes the helmet when he offers it, it is decently heavy.

"How do you fight in these? The armor looks flexible and easy to move in, but this?" She puts on the helmet, it's big and a bit unruly. "Seems difficult to be quick in."

"You get used to it, although generally when I'm wearing the helmet, I'm often also wearing more actual armor--and sacrifice that little bit of speed for more protection." Loki let himself have the sentimental thought that she was adorable. "This," letting his clothing change in a shimmer of green to what she might recognize from the news, "is easier to move in and fight." Another shimmer of green and his outfit changed while being mostly the same. "This is also easier to fight and move in still."

She probably didn't remember he'd worn a different outfit still when part of the rescue party.

His helmet fits, more or less, she looks ridiculous though.

"It will protect your head." She nods, it does feel quite secure.

She steps close to touch his chest.

"The style is so intricate, it's really beautiful armor though. I'd probably trip myself if I tried to wear a cape though."
