With the numbers, and no way to easily lure his opponents, his illusion and duplication casting isn't going to work.
But the numbers are thinning, and so he dodges another strike, blocks a third before vaulting over that opponent and turning around. Having bought himself some space with what's left of the group including Brunhilde mostly behind him, he turns and flings both hands out to shove them all back harder. Duck! Again he nudged at Christine, turning and flinging a bolt of magic at Osmund.
