It never wore out it's welcome, and Loki reveled in it. Wrapped around her with mind and body, it was so easy for her to detect things he wasn't aware of yet. That he loved her, that her loving him was balm to broken and lonely soul, that their bond went deeper than he might be aware. Even with his shields, and without his knowing, he'd become impossible to hide from her.

Eventually, they re-dressed, and left the bedroom. A light lunch full of loving touches as well, and teasing and laughter. Quizzing her on runes, working with her on some Norwegian too. Before they headed out to the sailboat. It was primitive, from Loki's point of view--but it also had been many many years since he'd sailed.

It wasn't hard to figure out though, and soon they were cruising along the water.

There was something nice about his ever present hum in her mind; just the vauge feeling of him that was always with her now.

It had been some time since she had sailed, but she remembered the basics.

They got a nice breeze that carried them across the water and kept them at least somewhat cool.

"The water is gorgeous." It was turquoise and clear enough to show the reefs below.

"It is swimmable. We can tack the sails and anchor ourselves if you wanted." For a future trip, Loki planned to look into scuba diving for her. Also a visit to Australia, as it had been on her list.

"Perfect. We should anchor just outside of the reef to keep from damaging it."

She keeps watch on the water to find somewhere a bit deeper to drop anchor.

"Then you find us a spot, Sweetling." Loki would keep his eyes out too, but his attention was taken more with sailing and keeping them afloat.

"Just right there where the color gets darker." She points to a area of a deeper blue that will be safe to stop.

"Got it!" Loki followed where she was pointing, steering (as much as one could) that way. Making sure they were decently in the darker section, before he tacked the sails down and let their pace slow. Then the anchor was dropped, and just finishing securing the boat so they could enjoy some time in the water too.

The boat slows and the stay slowly rocking in the current.

Christine had been wearing a sundress over a bikini and she quickly pulls the dress over her head. She has cast a sunscreen charm on herself.

"Want me to cast on you as well? Just in case you can sunburn?"

"If you like. I admit I'd be a most miserable patient, likely." Loki said. Peeling off his own linen shirt and likewise having worn swim-shorts under his casual slacks. "And while I do like you taking care of me, I don't relish it being because I'm injured."

"Sunburns are terrible." She casts the same charm over Loki.

"The rest of our trip wouldn't be much fun if you were blistered."

And he is very pale, he could end up blistered.

He is, but he was hardier than he looked. Even if she hadn't gotten quite the crash course in Jotunn physiology, Christine had learned enough now about Asgardians to realize just how different they were, for all that they looked human. Jotunns were similar in many ways to an Asgardian.

"It has been fun, and I would like to keep it that way, Sweetling." Coming to take her hand, bringing it up to kiss.

He is very sturdy but might still be able to burn. She'd rather be safe then to be left with a grumpy, sunburned frost giant.

She pulls him close and kisses him before roughly shoving him backwards, hopefully over the edge of the boat. Revenge for him throwing her in the ocean when they arrived.

There is a moment of surprise with the shove. She'd caught him off guard enough that he goes over and lands in the water with a splash. Surfacing a moment later, brushing his hair out of his eyes, he swims backwards a bit. "Going to join me, or just lord over me from the boat?"

She going to savor it for a moment before jumping in herself.

When she surfaces near him she's laughing.

"Now I go for revenge, I guess."

That makes him laugh as well, and swim closer. "I think you were warned, repeatedly, about my being a bad influence?"

"By so many people." She laughs, swimming to meet him.

"Glad I ignored their warnings though."

It went without saying that he was too. "I will happily help you with your revenge schemes, Sweetling." With a mental caress accompanying that thought.

"I've no doubt you'd be more devious than I would."

She chuckles. The water is the perfect temperature and she can see little schools of fish swimming below them.

"I've had more experience, it's true." Loki winked. Then shifted to conjure up a pair of goggles attached to a snorkel for her. "The website did make it sound as if these were essential. I know they're not the same as your want for scuba-gear..." Offering them to her.

She takes the goggles and nods.

"Can you breathe underwater or hold your breath a really long time or something similar?"

He shook his head. "I actually planned to just enjoy watching you." With an affectionate smile.

"Why's that? You scared to come make some fish friends with me?" She laughs and leaves a little kiss on his cheek.

"I try to not make friends with dinner." Loki kissed her cheek in turn, then let her have her space. "Have fun Christine. I...enjoy just being with you." It calmed him, as he'd told her before.

"We're not going to eat them!" She almost huffs. Aside from a troll, Christine has never killed anything.

Though then she's smiling before donning the snorkel.

"It's just to see this look, right?" With a full mask, and the nasally way she speaks with her nose covered, it's a look.

"Be glad I don't have a camera." Loki winked at her.
