"Perhaps this trip can be a 'trial run' in a way." Bringing their joined fingers up and nuzzling her hand. "You know you amaze me, yes?"

"Why's that?" She savors the little affection.

[whose_son_am_i]

"...Many ways, my Sweetling. Not least of which that you've gifted me your love and acceptance." Leaning in to kiss the bridge of her nose, and nuzzle her forehead.

"You accept me right back." But he does have quite a lot more darkness to be accepting of.

"Anyone who has a hard time accepting you, Sweetling, is someone with no taste at the very minimum." Another kiss, then he's leaning in to kiss her mouth softly. Keeping it sweet and short, before moving to continue their walk back to the bungalow.

They should, probably separately, take a quick shower and rinse off, then consider dinner.

There's a hum of love through the link at that little kiss.

"I should rinse off all the salt before we go anywhere."

Loki nodded. "That had been my thinking, although I should likely do a quick rinse as well. Even if I didn't swim as much as you did." Hence his also thinking separate showers.

"And if we ever want to leave, we should probably not shower together." She laughs.

They'd be in there for a very long time together.

"I'm sure we could make the time zone differences work to our advantage." Loki teased, but he agreed. As much as he'd love to shower with her again.

"I'm sure we will make up for it when we get back." They will inevitably make love after dinner, probably more than once.

They were on the path up now, so it wouldn't be much longer. "Sweetling, we're on vacation. We'll absolutely make up for it." Besides, whether they made love or not, they were spending time together. Which is what Loki wanted most--time with her. It was precious--she was precious.

She laughs.

"We've earned this little vacation for sure." They've both been working non-stop since the battle.

The time is really the best bit of this, just being alone together.

"Agreed." Loki murmured, bringing her hand up to kiss her fingers where they were twined. "Go shower, Sweetling. I'll find us a place or two in London for dinner." Before he's reluctantly letting her go, albeit teasingly with a smile and a quick pat on her ass to encourage her.

She gives a little wiggle of her butt as she heads off to the bathroom to take a quick shower.

She does make sure to mentally send him a few teasing images of the water running over her skin.

His laughter followed her, and every image sent back was returned with a deliberate caress of her mind and a promise of Later, Sweetling. Promise.

While she got clean, Loki researched places for them to go to dinner, eventually finding a nice little evening bistro that looked both cozy and elegant. It promised high-class version of working-class foods, so hearty and filling and warm.

She's amused though, she likes to tease him. It's only a few moments before she is out, wrapped in a towel.

"Go take a look at what I've found, and see if you like it." Loki greeted her, already stripped to his swim-shorts again, with a towel handy. Nuzzling her cheek as he passed. "Webcam is blocked and disabled too."

"Maybe I wanted to do a little naked dance on the internet."

She gives him a little kiss as he passes.

Don't you *dare*. Mine. His mental voice had a little growl to it, and all the possessive undertones in the emotion sent.

That kiss was returned, and full of reluctant heat. But they did have plans, so onward to the shower Loki went. Not long at all before she'll hear water running then being turned off. His rinse was even quicker than hers was, before he's likewise coming back to the bedroom in only a towel.

demanding. it's amused, but also, a hint aroused. She never imagined herself as one to appreciate a bit of possessiveness from a partner.

She is seated at the computer reading one of the menus for the place he's suggested.

"This looks nice."

He had warned her very early on he was the possessive and jealous type. It would likely be worse were she not reassuring him so much. Including projecting her emotions so strongly to him.

Looking over her shoulder, he nodded. "Does it require reservations?" A quick scan of the page. "Hmm. Might be a good idea, even though they don't require them." Conjuring his cell phone, and placing a call to do just that.

She is always very reassuring, and she can't lie when she projects her feelings for him. Even when she sees Stephen now, it's as friends and not former lovers.

"Put it under my name?" Since his would draw more attention then they wanted.

A thumbs up was sent her way, and he completed the reservation. "Alright. We now have a bit of time to look around the sanctum, depending on how far away it is, from the bistro." De-conjuring his cellphone once more, Loki made sure he was dry, before expending the magic to create clothing for himself.

Christine stands to give him a once over and a little, approving nod.

"You'll fit in in London." With the scarf and long jacket.

"I have been a few times already, discreetly." Loki murmured, nodding his thanks. "Come closer and I'll see if I've found an outfit fitting your approval." Holding out his arms for her, with a little sly smile.
