I do want to protect you, but-" Puck gestured back with one of his hands. "I don't have to, especially if you're not comfortable with it. I'm not the monarchs I serve. If you want me to simply fight beside you and trust your powers in whatever form they take, then we fight together. Simple as that."
"But I won't put you into a role that you don't want to satisfy myself." Puck's eyes went to the floor for a minute. "I know how that is. I won't repeat it."
