And not simply because Loki was very much older in years by several centuries. So he walked a delicate balancing act, but was trying hard to do so. He respected and liked Eilonwy, considered her a friend.
Then it was his turn to raise an eyebrow, and look somewhat surprised. "Oh? Any of that, I will credit to you and other friends I've made here. I was not very strong emotionally before arriving in this place."
