"True. But I doubt it'll come to that." Christine should be happy, Loki hadn't bothered to button up the white linen shirt. "The hardest part is likely cooking it all, but I suspect between us we'll be fine."

Inside the bungalow was nice. Most of their sitting space was open to the elements, with the bedroom on one side, with en-suite bath and shower and a patio that opened directly out to the area with the hammock. On the other side of the sitting area was an enclosed kitchen and dining area. The sitting area could be blocked off by light curtains, as needed, but was designed to be hardy for the weather. It even had a small firepit in the middle of it.

There is never a time where she doesn't appreciate a little skin.

"Do you know how to cook?" She doesn't imagine it was something he's done a lot of, being a prince and all.

The inside of the bungalow is just as nice as the outside, so much of it is open to the breezes, and the sound of the waves.

"A bit. I had to learn." And not under the best of circumstances. But it wouldn't be too hard to figure out, likely. It was one of those things he needed to be able to adapt to.

She had said tropical paradise get-a-way. Loki had done his best to find such. The bungalow had a decent stock of wines as well.

"We have a good selection of fruit." She picks up a mango to cut into pieces for them.

"We can cook together, it'll be a bonding experience."

"As if we don't have enough of those." Loki murmured, while letting his mind briefly caress hers. Mostly he was learning the layout of their bungalow, and setting up small alert and misdirection wards. Precautions, but they made him feel more secure.

"I was going to say, but this bonding is with knives; but that is a lot of our usual."

She is grinning ear to ear. They play with knives together a lot.

"Do you want me to add a few wards as well?"

"I mean, I'm sure I could find a good stick to use as a staff, mix it up a bit if you wanted." Loki said, grinning at her. "If you want. I'm always curious about your magic."

"I want to try with staffs."

She had seen him using one while sparing and she was intrigued.

Christine nods. Her magic swirls with red runes as she casts a basic ward over the place.

It was definitely a different source of magic than his own, possibly because of the different schooling too. But Loki studied her, watching her weave the energies in place, with a soft (and loving) smile on his face.

He was more proficient with a spear than a staff, but it would do.

Perhaps there was an element of being different species as well. They harnessed the same energy, just in different ways.

She finishes her ward and sends a curl of magical wind to wrap around him with a warm breeze.

His hands went out to the sides, with the breeze and Loki laughed softly. Before shifting his arms, moving to pull her to him. One arm went to her waist and hip, the other took hers to the side. "I do recall once you saying you wanted to see me dance." Would she dance with him now?

She's chucking herself as she's pulled to him.

"We need some music." She will absolutely dance with him.

"Says who?" Loki asked, with a soft smile. Before starting to lead her. Just basics, but dancing to a beat that he hoped she might be able to hear too.

It's been a while since she danced, but she does know the basics. She can keep up with his lead, a fond smile on her face.

It helps that it's nothing too difficult. An occasional twirl, or a dip, but mostly just the two of them being close and dancing with each other. Clear in his eyes he's very much enjoying.

They could very easily learn a complicated dance, they move well together.

"You lead well." She knows exactly what he's doing with each little movement.

"You dance well. Or perhaps I lead well because I have the perfect partner." With a teasing wink. Especially since he lead into another twirl with it, and when she came back, she was dipped.

"So charming." She laughs as she spins and is quickly dipped. When she is pulled back upward she kisses him.

"We need to go to some event where we can dance."

"I do love seeing you dressed up." Loki agreed, leaning his forehead against hers. "So I'll find us an event."

"I'll wear some flowy dress for you." She lets out a happy little sigh. They're going to have a perfect little vacation.

Leaning his forehead against hers, Loki gave a slow blink. Blue-green eyes sparkled with affection. "However I can help you look beautiful, Sweetling."

"And you can wear your black suit." She likes the look of him in a suit. "You're wonderful."

"Only for you, my Sweetling." How could he not kiss her after that? So he did, sweet and lingering and wanting. They would need food before anything else, but this kiss had promise.

They would need to make some dinner, but she didn't mind a slow, lingering kiss first.

Once she pulled away she grinned. "Right, we should eat."

"We should. We'll probably need the energy." Bringing their joined hands up to kiss her knuckles, Loki was then pulling a way. While keeping their hands joined, and heading towards the kitchen. "Let's see what they stocked, and if I can figure out these appliances." He was confident he could.
