"Everything but you being a convenience." With a little kiss by her ear. "But you did do me a kindness. You are amusing and I enjoy our banter and conversation. You are far too kind, and you let me take advantage of it."

She nods, all of that is true.

Christine is feeling a bit better, she isn't one to wallow for very long.

"I'm hungry. We were meant to be having dinner by now."

"What would you like?" Another kiss by her ear. "We can dress up and go out, or stay in--whatever you want, Sweetling." One of his hands sought hers out to twine their fingers. "I...didn't know I could care when someone else was hurt." It wasn't entirely true, but he wasn't sure how else to phrase it.

"Lets stay in." She can't imagine trying to get in the mood to get dressed up right now.

"Really?" She rubs her thumb against his skin when he takes her hand.

Loki nodded, and kissed the top of her hair. "If you asked me to kill him, I would if it would make you feel better. I'd be sure he stayed dead this time."

"I wouldn't ask that of you." She does squeeze him just a little tighter.

"I'm stronger than all that. And I'm sure he thought he was saving me from the big, bad Loki."

"He's never struck me as a cruel man, so I think you might be right. He was attempting to be cruel to be kind, as it were." One more squeeze of their joined hands. Moving his other from where it was stroking her hair, he held it up and manifested his cell phone.

The wonders of modern convenience. Humans had pioneered a way to be lazy, collecting all of their delivery restaurants into a few different 'apps' that one could simply pick something from. A little bit of scrolling, presses of the screen, and then he vanished the phone.

"Food is on the way, Sweetling. Until then, I recommend you go soak and get comfy. I already learned where everything was, and can set things up." Wrapping his arm around her again, Loki chuckled. "You do have me tamed; here I was the one in cuffs and under arrest, and yet I'm worrying over you." It was amusing.

"I doubt he has the best opinion of you, given that you killed him once." And that really would sour anyone's opinion.

She let's him deal with the food ordering while she listens to his heartbeat.

"You did do a bit of reorganizing." A bit meaning all of her furnature. "I'm just going to take a hot shower." She gives him a kiss and moves to get up.

"If they had hurt you I was ready to find out how well that dagger travels."

He let her up, but stayed lounging for a moment longer. And smiled at her. "Sweetling, careful--at this rate you might not be showering alone, and one of us really should stay here to get the food."

She grins. "Does me threatening violence really get you going?"

She's not entirely surprised by it.

"No. You being protective over me is a very pleasing idea though." With a playful wink. "Go. Soak. Be indulgent and take a bath. I'll bring you wine, even."

"Well, protective you have. Even if you probably won't ever need it."

She nods and leaves for the bathroom, soon he will hear water running.

Loki needed it, just not in ways most people would consider. Not even in ways he had considered. He hadn't touched her bedroom or bathroom in his reorganizing and redecorating spree. Once he hears the water running though, he does move to go pour glasses of wine and will bring one to her.

By the time he makes it to the bathroom she is in the tub. The heat feels very good and is doing wonders for her stress.

"Thank you." She takes the wine and has a sip. "You need to get the food or I'd invite you in."

Her bathroom was nice. And she looked very inviting. But...

Looking around the room, Loki felt a smile come to his face. And touched a wall. Painting the bathroom in an illusion of golds and browns, one wall transformed to look like a window out at the starry sky.

"That's better. And you look perfect in it."

"You have quite a fondness for the stars." It is beautiful though, his illusions are so realistic that she gets lost in them

"Guilty." Loki responds with a smile. Leaning over to kiss her hair, breathe her in for a moment. "Remember what I told you about the stars and why your soul shines."

She touches his cheek, fond and kind.

"It's quite the compliment."

She's not Asgardian, so she won't become a star.

Mother and Father are up there. That thought came with definite sad overtones. Leaning into her touch and relaxing for a moment. "I also told you to dream big. I will be having to leave Midgard sometime soon--there are things the Commodore needs that we can't do here."

So I get to see your parents all the time.

She has such a gentle way with him, always so soft.

"Are you inviting me to space?"

"Would you want to go, if I were?"

"It's a little scary, but yes, I would want to go with you." She leans up enough to kiss him.

"It will likely get scarier still, but I'd welcome your company." Spoken against her mouth, hand moving to brush through her hair.

"I travel with a god, I'm sure it'll be fine." She leans into that touch, her teeth playfully tugging his lower lip.

There were sparkles of laughter along their link, and Loki deepened the kiss slightly. Tasting her, nipping back, holding her steady with the hand in her hair.
