She savors the sound of him, the way her name sounds on his lips when he moans it in pleasure.

This is when he is most hers, when she has him like this and they find their pleasure together.

It is when he is most hers, as right then she was his world. Cradling her close, wrapped around each other, just content and lazing in the afterglow. Eventually he moves to stroke her hair softly, raining kisses against her face.

She lets so much love flow over the link. There is no hiding it from him, nor any attempt to.

that was nice. there's a happy little hum that comes with it as she also leaves affectionate little kisses on his face.

Agreed. We'll definitely be doing this again. Nor is Loki aware that he's letting his affection and care flow back. Or if he is, he doesn't care--and doesn't realize everything that is flowing with it. "Once we can move again" Murmured against her skin. "We should get our clothing and unpack and see the rest of the place. It's stocked for a week."

"Who needs clothing anyway?" They won't be going anywhere for at least a little bit, they're just basking in their affectionate embrace for a little longer.

"Maybe we can work on that book this evening. When it gets cool."

"We'll start on nordic runes, so you can read the book, Sweetling." Loki said, and reached up to tap her nose playfully. "If nothing else, I will teach you my name and your name and the basic alphabet, so to speak."

"At least I'll be able to find the myths about you easier." She teases. "Are there still some that pray to you?"

"Given there are people who still believe we are gods, it wouldn't surprise me. What does, is that few of them have made a trek to New Asgard." It would probably also depend on the prayers.

"But you don't like, hear prayers."

She understands why people would think him a god, especially back at the dawn of human civilization.

"I'm not Heimdall, so no." Oh it made sense to him as well why they'd been mistaken for gods. Compared to the humans, in many ways, they were.

"You'd hear mine."

She finally moves off of him, laying next to him an arm wrapping around his waist.

it actually makes him sad, when she moves off of him. He was savoring their connection. Loki turns though, to still be close. Moving to stroke her hair and cheek lovingly. "I would. But you have a connection others don't."

"I don't think I mention enough how much I enjoy our mental connection."

It is a little sad, but also, more comfortable for her.

"Oh I can tell you do. And while it should scare me, I enjoy it as well." Leaning in to kiss her sweetly, softly. "I think I've told you I haven't had this kind of connection with anyone else."

"You wouldn't let just anyone in your head. And I had no idea I could in the first place."

She meets his kiss and brushes back his hair.

"I wonder why it works so well between us though."

"That I do not know." Another kiss, and he's sighing with contentment and leaning into her touch. This was so nice--just lounging on the beach, letting the sun warm their bodies. "It...I feel like we'll find out in time, but we're not meant to know completely." Like a half-remembered dream.

"Something about destiny or whatever."

Which isn't something she would have ever believed in if it didn't seem to have such a big impact in her life right now.

"Would you want me to live longer if I could?"

"I would. But it would depend on how that could be achieved. I would want you to have youth and good health to go with it." Nuzzling her.

"Really? You'd want to keep me even longer?"

For some reason that's a surprise, like she expected him to appreciate the shortness of her lifespan.

"Is that so surprising, my Christine?" Loki raised an eyebrow, before kissing her again. Sweet, but intimate and tasting. Communicating with out words just why he wanted to keep her.

"A little." She smiles against his lips. "Didn't think you'd want a long commitment."

Her human life won't be long for him.

It was true, her human life wouldn't be long for him. And even an extended life might not be long. "Things may change eventually. But as it is I'm quite taken with you, as you should know." Murmured against her lips and cheek and jaw. Nuzzling her throat, and up to her ear. "As you've said, my heart is very selective--and yet you've become part of it."

"You're a part of mine as well."

She was happy to have whatever time she could with him. It was surprising enough to have the heart of an Asgardian.

"At this point I'd hope I am." Loki murmured, shifting and moving to where he could kiss over her heart. Nuzzling her neck and collarbone too. "Are we to spend our whole afternoon here, my Sweetling?" Because he wouldn't mind; she was far too tempting.
