Touch was clearly one of the ways they expressed affection and love. Nuzzling her softly, Loki murmured sweet words in her ear while washing her. Just enjoying the moment and keeping her close and touching her. There was heat, but it was banked--there wasn't the fierce *need*, though there was still passion.

There usually was a little heat between them, always a level of want behind little touches. Sometimes it was heavy and desperate, others a bit sweeter.

"Love you." She mutters, leaning against him.

His hands rested at her hips, both the one with the cloth and the one that held nothing. Keeping her close as the water rained down on them. "You are special." He whispered against her ear. "You are wonderful." Still nuzzling her softly, while his hand without the cloth slipped lower. Teasing against the skin of her center. "Do you have any idea how you make me feel, my Christine?"

She sighs when his hand makes it better her legs.

"I can feel it." She kisses him, "it's incredible, to know in absolute detail how you feel about me."

Including his love, she knows he loves her before he does.

Loki didn't bother replying with words, just kissing her again. Letting that action speak louder, as it were. Especially as he also teased her center, slowly building her arousal. I told you, this round would be gentler.

I've also mentioned before that I love watching you shatter. This accompanied wisps of thoughts and emotions that Loki allowed to leak out. Thoughts like 'you work too hard', 'you give so much', 'want you safe', 'want you blissful'... Care and worry and desire and affection and possessiveness and protectiveness and under it all--love.

It was no longer JUST about his ego, to be a good lover to her. It hadn't been for a while though he'd hidden that fact from himself. He truly wanted her contentment and happiness--and this was one way he could show her and give her that.

The wave of his thoughts make her smile, she wants the same for him. To keep him happy and safe.

She knows it's been more for him for a while now and that makes her very happy.

She trails her hands down his body to tease him back.

It's clear from how he leans into her touch that it's welcome. Just as he returns that care and affection with his own touches; both intimate at her center and more calmly along her hip and stomach. "Christine, Sweetling..." Breathed out and against her, in a lover's tone.

"Loki" she practically purrs into his ear. She teases his length but also caresses along his side. She is reverent in her touches of him.

"Let me say a little prayer to the God of Mischief"

"I can guarantee your prayers will be answered, Sweetling." Nuzzling by her ear, pressing kisses against the skin of her throat and behind her ear.

"Can you though?" She teases, she trails kisses from his chest down as she lowers herself to her knees with a wicked smirk.

"I'd burn down a world to save you, Sweetling... I think I'd die trying if I couldn't guarantee for you." Oh now this was turning interesting. It meant he'd had to stop touching her quite so intimately.

There's a little flush of pride though the link. Though she would never want him to cause destruction on her behalf.

She leaves a little kiss on his hipbone.

"My prince." She runs her tongue easily along his length.

Loki shivered in pleasure, frissons of it running down his spine. Dropping the wash-cloth entirely, his hands moved to her hair. One seeking to keep water from blinding her, the other moving to stroke through her own. "Terrible princess or not, I could help you be one if you wanted." Teasing and breathy and low in promise.

She very much appreciates that shiver. She swirls her tongue and aims to please him the way he's pleased her so many times before.

I'm yours for your life--I would make *you* a princess, if you wanted. It was easier to speak to her mind, rather than aloud. She was stealing his breath, sharpening his focus to only be on her. How she touched and teased, tasting him.
